To those who understand our thoughts, we find solace in the pen we print...

We've been guilty of many things in our life and certainly struggled very profoundly in our faith due to the damage, leaving weaknesses capable of being taken advantage of (and Diotrephes knew it, holding inventory to his selfish ambition); We've remained transparent, confessing when necessary and admitting fault when recognized.

In our past walk, we used to be figures of authority in a realm of crime we organized, drenched in addiction and chaos. We've experienced the pride of men and the fear some had at the control we captured. We know of the charm wine has while it swirls in the glass and women as they sway to the enchantment of a song. We've witnessed violence and have lost loved ones; we've seen the eyes of murderers. We've indulged in the companionship of our entourage and the dance of our Gentile oceans.

But as to our days of old, since left behind, we've changed/repented; we gave it all up, sold it, and moved away to follow Jesus (wherever He led us); family, friends, worldly accumulations, and socio-positions of prestige, all but a memory of a time passed. Our old faces died many years ago with consequences, and many trials and scars on our minds remain, never again to return to our vomit. We've been through deep sorrow and are blessed with insight and discernment as a result. We've had to correct our path on several instances and will continue to do so as God disciplines His servants, keeping us humble.

Yet with all our shortcomings, we have never defrauded, swindled, mismanaged, or "scammed" one dime from His treasury or any supporter; to the contrary, we have exceeded in our sacrifice; God and His faithful fold are our witnesses. We are but the vessels He chose to work through, not because He needed us, but because we needed Him, and we eagerly anticipate the offering each week. This reality will hold in our God's honourable court of law. If professional liars and cunning deceivers try to dismantle our stewardship and integrity, know they are the frauds who steal, devour, and destroy. Please pay close attention to a double-minded snake; his split tongue and arrogant pestilence will be his demise, and one need not enter the tomb to know where the dead roam. But for the faithful, we move forward in our heavenly citizenry, love, forgiveness, family, and unity, caring for our elders, widows, and children, eagerly seeking to practice benevolence, teaching the truth for the love of the truth (Jn. 8:31-32).

We trust God. We will remain focused on the growing mission and give evil workers over to the justice of our Lord and Master, Jesus Christ. His grace has permitted us to persevere. We are at His mercy; praise His Holy Name. You, those of the "beatitudes," are loved and appreciated, necessary and well received; may His Word cultivate tranquility in your heart.

Your servant,
SM

"Water Baptism, Saves?"

In 1 Peter 3:21, we see the explicit inspired words of Peter the Apostle of Jesus the Christ. Was he teaching the Christians of the 1st Century that they were saved by "water?" What exactly did Peter mean within the context? This and more we explore in this exclusive LOCALS podcast session.

"POLITICS"

Our p0latiks in a quick and simple Five Point Solution;

As Faithful Christians Governed by the Words of the Holy Spirit,

WE ARE...

1. Pro-Christ: All public sectors of service, power, influence, and leadership (i.e., Government, Corporation, Academics, Entertainment, and Media) should favour the upright moral policy found within the doctrine of Christ.

2. Pro-Life: from conception to natural death, we must protect the sovereignty of human existence from child to senior at all costs.

3. Pro-family, one M and one F, H&W, with prayerfully the blessing of children, must be protected, endorsed, encouraged, and kept secure at all costs.

4. Pro-SD: to honour the God-given liberty and freedom to secure one's life, household, and property in all decency and just conduct.

5. Pro-law: justice, order, border, and National safety to live life peacefully for the cause of Christ and the greater good of His kingdom.

We could expound much more on this 5-point formula; if you'd like to hear more, I have a link to several...

Rescued - Transferred - Redeemed
The Kingdom of His beloved Son

You've fallen asleep comfy in your bed, and a fire started in your house. You wake to panic as you become aware of your surroundings, trapped by a wall of lavalike heat. You find yourself in danger, where smoke and flames threaten your life. Your neighbors were capable of seeing the threat and had since called for help. The firefighters arrive on the scene and immediately find you in your bedroom--time for a rescue. Are you yet seen in a location of satety? No, not yet. There still needs to be a transfer from the site of dakness, smoke, and fire to an area of light, fresh air, and safety. And so the firefighters guide you out of certain death into a secure location. You have now been saved, not without damage, trauma, and loss. But you've gained your life and get to learn fowared another day.

You've become idle in your sinful behavior and practices. You wake to panic as you become aware of your eternal punishment. A neighbor cares for you enough to share Jesus with you. Will you obey the gospel?

The reception of forgivness was the desired result of all who willfully gave their lives to Christ, submissive to His spiritual operation (Col. 2:11-12). Paul, the apostle, speaking to his brethren in Colossae, was accurate in reminding them of their reconciliation. And how the Word of God they had chosen to hear produced fruit for the Kingdom. The Kingdom was God's preplanned location where all found within would have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

A domain needs a King, Christ Jesus. A Kingdom has boundaries, borders, law and order, and justice. This Kingdom is of a peculiar kind, and we should all seek first legal citizenry (Mt. 6:33). His Kingdom is the body, the church (Col. 2:1,18,24). The body for it has organic members all united for the purposed function--the church fo its assembly, it's family. The way in? Being a repentant believer confessing Christ, immersed into water calling on His name, in order to receive the forgiveness of your sins, being added to His Kingdom, local assembly (i.e. "rescued, transferred, redeemed").

This good news of Jesus Christ "was proclaimed in all creation" to give humankind a way out of the flames and sinful consequences. And we are wise to hear its call.

Is your house on fire?
