Our thoughts,

Have they told us that Christianity is about "health and wealth?" Perhaps "peaches & cream?" They've lied to us, haven't they? Do we blame ourselves? Do we feel lost inside as a result?

Have we been victims of some of the most cunning wolves this fallen world has ever produced? Have we been the recipient of abuse from toxic tyrants? Have they made us question our sanity? Have we experienced self-righteous deviants destroying everything they touch? Has the Devil burned our house down and blamed us for it? Did we give him the match? Have we been deceived and or betrayed by those closest to us? Have we been unheard and believed, though we had all the evidence necessary to prove our case? Have some sided with Satan? Have we lost loved ones and been through complex health challenges? Deep and devastating sorrows, despair, and brokenness?

As tempting as it might be to aggressively throw our hurt towards the wrong source, as convenient as it may facilitate falling into regret, bitterness, and hate, it's never Jesus' fault nor His bride. Whether divisive hypocrites, liars, slanderers, false witnesses, phycological manipulators who split families, congregations, and friendships under the guise of "righteousness" for greed and selfish ambition, or idle members who find what the world has to offer more appealing, it's never God's fault, nor the perfection of His institution. The world has crept into the church, and this is a reality. The world is well versed in using the Bible corruptively, wrongly handling it to charm us into all sorts of errors eloquently. We tend to blame marriage when a divorce takes place, correct? Friends, it's not marriage's fault. Again, God is not to blame. Sin, sin is the problem.

We must not lose heart, dear brethren, who have a love of Christ within us. We are created in Him to minister and suffer until our reward; the sooner we count the cost, the sooner we persevere. Persecution is an inevitable reality. This world is unfair; we will receive injustice from those among us who seem rewarded for their wicked ways. But know that one Day such things will be revealed, and God will comfort the poor in spirit with the peace we sought, eternally. You are loved and appreciated; you are not alone. We, the humble and faithful, have gone through all these things and will comfort each other till we depart. Spite the turmoil and chaos; there remains Christ our Lord.

Your servant,
SM

Sunday, Sept. 18th, 2022.

"Cleansing the Temple"
"Water Baptism, Saves?"

In 1 Peter 3:21, we see the explicit inspired words of Peter the Apostle of Jesus the Christ. Was he teaching the Christians of the 1st Century that they were saved by "water?" What exactly did Peter mean within the context? This and more we explore in this exclusive LOCALS podcast session.

POLL question: "was Peter the Apostle married?"

"Water Baptism, Saves?"
Thank you

I remain most thankful to God and His Grace for all of you who support me and my family through this LOCALS community. It is my prayer that more would consider doing so along with you.

Last month I was blessed to receive $450, the month before that was $350, and when we first began on this platform it was $1,200/m. We've lost allot of support due to the economy.

This digital location may not be the hub destination for my content but the support from it certainly helps fund my material and work on all social media communities.

The Maillet family remains transparent and active in our work alongside the EastCoast Congregation. We are very encouraged to share our faith publicly so all can find joy with us as we grow.

I'll be sharing some video updates/reports ("vlogs" ) soon, exclusively to supporters on this platform.

May God bless your day with peace and productivity.

Rescued - Transferred - Redeemed
The Kingdom of His beloved Son

You've fallen asleep comfy in your bed, and a fire started in your house. You wake to panic as you become aware of your surroundings, trapped by a wall of lavalike heat. You find yourself in danger, where smoke and flames threaten your life. Your neighbors were capable of seeing the threat and had since called for help. The firefighters arrive on the scene and immediately find you in your bedroom--time for a rescue. Are you yet seen in a location of satety? No, not yet. There still needs to be a transfer from the site of dakness, smoke, and fire to an area of light, fresh air, and safety. And so the firefighters guide you out of certain death into a secure location. You have now been saved, not without damage, trauma, and loss. But you've gained your life and get to learn fowared another day.

You've become idle in your sinful behavior and practices. You wake to panic as you become aware of your eternal punishment. A neighbor cares for you enough to share Jesus with you. Will you obey the gospel?

The reception of forgivness was the desired result of all who willfully gave their lives to Christ, submissive to His spiritual operation (Col. 2:11-12). Paul, the apostle, speaking to his brethren in Colossae, was accurate in reminding them of their reconciliation. And how the Word of God they had chosen to hear produced fruit for the Kingdom. The Kingdom was God's preplanned location where all found within would have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

A domain needs a King, Christ Jesus. A Kingdom has boundaries, borders, law and order, and justice. This Kingdom is of a peculiar kind, and we should all seek first legal citizenry (Mt. 6:33). His Kingdom is the body, the church (Col. 2:1,18,24). The body for it has organic members all united for the purposed function--the church fo its assembly, it's family. The way in? Being a repentant believer confessing Christ, immersed into water calling on His name, in order to receive the forgiveness of your sins, being added to His Kingdom, local assembly (i.e. "rescued, transferred, redeemed").

This good news of Jesus Christ "was proclaimed in all creation" to give humankind a way out of the flames and sinful consequences. And we are wise to hear its call.

Is your house on fire?
