The 5 "p's" of the Kingdom

An expedient spiritual format pattern designed to help us dive deeper into the Scriptural text for answers. For this regarding the kingdom God proclaimed and how we human beings can access entrance.

Predestined (Eph. 1:3-6) - the kingdom was birth from the mind of God, the preplanned location for all accountable souls choosing to obey the gospel of Jesus Christ (Rom. 6:17, 2 Thess 1:8).

Prophesied - the kingdom was proclaimed through the agency of prophets
(Daniel 2:44, Joel 2:28-29, Micah 4:1-3)

“In the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall NEVER be destroyed;” Daniel (the timeline - during the Roman Empire)

“I will pour out of my spirit upon all flesh;” Joel (the source - God)

“the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.” Micah (the location - “Jerusalem”)

Promised - the kingdom was promised by the Christ
(Mt. 16:18)

“Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Mt. 4:17). ‘Seek ye first the kingdom of God,” (Mt. 6:33)

This very kingdom our King Jesus Christ promised to build in Matthew 16:18; “And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter (petros, “a stone”), and upon this rock (petra, a large mass of rock, the foundation, “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” 1 Cor. 3:11) I will build my (ownership/Christ) church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

Question. Jesus promised to build His church/kingdom, did He do so? If so which one is it?

Purchased - the kingdom/church was purchased by His blood
(Acts 20:28)

“the church belonging to God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.”

Rightly decided Scriptures reveal: Predestined. Prophesied. Promised. And now purchased, (per-ee-poy-eh'-om-ahee) = acquire, earn, make my own, preserve alive.

The Preservation for purchased souls, "addedsouls." Jesus purchased His church, it belongs to Him, His Father, His Spirit, in order to preserve us alive within its boundaries, body, Kingdom, assembly, congregation. Outside its walls is sin and death eternal (Rev. 22:15).

Question: when you buy something at the store do you pay for it and leave it there for anyone to take it and put it wherever they want? No, you bring it with you and add it to a new location, your personal chosen location.

Question: when Christ bought you with His blood, did He leave you there for anyone to take you and put you in any Church Jesus never built? No, He purchased you with His own blood and placed you in His church and no other, the spiritual location for all spiritual blessings (i.e. where the saved are gathered).

Practical - entrance into the Kingdom must be practiced by our faith
(Heb. 11:6, Jn. 3:5, Acts 2:38, Mk. 16:16)

So, once again we remember: Predestined. Prophesied. Promised. Purchased. And now a call to action on our part (i.e. "faith" = trust). To practice our faith is to put our trust into motion, never to meritoriously earn our salvation through works of worldly boast. No, rather to show God the Father that we believe in God the Son, our Savior. We must become citizens of His kingdom so as to make Him Ruler of our lives.

His kingdom was established, witnessed and recorded forevermore time within the Book of Acts. Its doors opened on the Day of Pentecost in Jerusalem during the reign of the Roman empire. Built by the outpouring power of the Holy Spirit upon chosen vessels.

And so we ask God as they asked God, “what must we do?” And God breathe literature replied: “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins:” (Acts 2:38)

And every individual accountable soul seeking citizenship of His kingdom that day gladly received the conditions of faith and were immersed therein: “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body (kingdom), whether Jews or Gentiles, whether bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.” - 1 Cor. 12:13

Additional Scripture:

“But the LORD abides forever; He has established His throne for judgment, And He will judge the world in righteousness; He will execute judgment for the peoples with equity.” - Psalm 9:7-8

“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of uprightness is the scepter of Your kingdom.” - Psalm 45:6

“The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.” Psalm 18:2

My dear friends if we follow the Bible's 5 “p’s” we'll soon be born again out of water and the Spirit added to His church/Kingdom.

"Water Baptism, Saves?"

In 1 Peter 3:21, we see the explicit inspired words of Peter the Apostle of Jesus the Christ. Was he teaching the Christians of the 1st Century that they were saved by "water?" What exactly did Peter mean within the context? This and more we explore in this exclusive LOCALS podcast session.

POLL question: "was Peter the Apostle married?"

"Water Baptism, Saves?"

Rescued - Transferred - Redeemed
The Kingdom of His beloved Son

You've fallen asleep comfy in your bed, and a fire started in your house. You wake to panic as you become aware of your surroundings, trapped by a wall of lavalike heat. You find yourself in danger, where smoke and flames threaten your life. Your neighbors were capable of seeing the threat and had since called for help. The firefighters arrive on the scene and immediately find you in your bedroom--time for a rescue. Are you yet seen in a location of satety? No, not yet. There still needs to be a transfer from the site of dakness, smoke, and fire to an area of light, fresh air, and safety. And so the firefighters guide you out of certain death into a secure location. You have now been saved, not without damage, trauma, and loss. But you've gained your life and get to learn fowared another day.

You've become idle in your sinful behavior and practices. You wake to panic as you become aware of your eternal punishment. A neighbor cares for you enough to share Jesus with you. Will you obey the gospel?

The reception of forgivness was the desired result of all who willfully gave their lives to Christ, submissive to His spiritual operation (Col. 2:11-12). Paul, the apostle, speaking to his brethren in Colossae, was accurate in reminding them of their reconciliation. And how the Word of God they had chosen to hear produced fruit for the Kingdom. The Kingdom was God's preplanned location where all found within would have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

A domain needs a King, Christ Jesus. A Kingdom has boundaries, borders, law and order, and justice. This Kingdom is of a peculiar kind, and we should all seek first legal citizenry (Mt. 6:33). His Kingdom is the body, the church (Col. 2:1,18,24). The body for it has organic members all united for the purposed function--the church fo its assembly, it's family. The way in? Being a repentant believer confessing Christ, immersed into water calling on His name, in order to receive the forgiveness of your sins, being added to His Kingdom, local assembly (i.e. "rescued, transferred, redeemed").

This good news of Jesus Christ "was proclaimed in all creation" to give humankind a way out of the flames and sinful consequences. And we are wise to hear its call.

Is your house on fire?

Your servant,
