We count our blessings. Sunday has come again,...
"The sabbath was past, and very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun." - Mark 16:1-2
"When the day of Pentecost had come, the 12 apostles ("they" ) were all together in one place." - Acts 2:1
But Peter, taking his stand with the eleven, among the crowds, delivered an inspired word regarding this Jesus God raised up again, to which they were all witnesses. So then, those who had received his word were immersed in water; and that day there were added to the church belonging to Christ about three thousand souls. (ref. Acts 2:14, 32, 41, Rom. 16:16).
"And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight." - Acts 20:7
The faithful in Christ able to assemble will do so this day, in spirit and truth (John 4:23), eagerly awaiting His return (1 Thess. 4:18).
We sing, we pray, we remember, we give, and we learn. God be praised, Most High and Living Power, glorified His name forevermore will be.
