"and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him."
You can read this verse. You can study this verse. You can memorize this verse. You can even teach this verse. But until you've actually lived through this verse? You might not fully grasp how serious this verse truly is. Friends, there's a reason Jesus said this is the one who "has the greater sin."
To those deceived within the fold it could have easily seemed like Judas was the righteous character in this account, with such a "holy" and "welcoming" act, right? Those without discernment might have been fooled, but Jesus knew precisely what was taking place, and he loved us so much he allowed it to happen.
Something to think about.
